Wine Travel Destinations

Wine isn't just for sipping anymore- it's for exploring in these great wine-centric destinations.  Go to Napa Valley, visit the vineyard where your favorite Cabernet Sauvignon is grown, and talk to the winemaker in person.  Visit Bordeaux and get the truest expression of terroir possible, by grabbing a handful of that famous soil and giving it a sniff.  Get a tour through the wine caves in Champagne. Visit a cooperage in France and see exactly how those oak barrels are made.  If you like getting dirty, be sure to head into Sonoma during harvest... they'll tell you to jump in and give them a hand!
