There's nothing wrong with spending the day at the zoo or learning Singapore's history at the National Museum, but sometimes these popular places can seem too busy with families and kids… and sometimes you just want to do something a bit more, well - cool. Don't worry, luckily there are plenty of hip places to visit, so grab a pair of shades and check out or top ten ideas of cool things to do in Singapore.
Cool activities seem to attract the adrenaline junkies amongst us, and if this sounds like you then the top entries on our list will suit you. The MegaZip Adventure Park on Sentosa gives you Asia's most extreme zip line experience as well as a high rope's adventure course up in the treetops; Ski 360 will have you flipping over jumps on your wakeboard, while the G-MAX reverse bungy is definitely not for the feint hearted, as you will be thrust into the air at 200kmph and experience 6 G-forces in the process. The Luge is slightly more tame but still a whole load of fun, and while a gentle kayak amongst the mangroves of Pulau Ubin may not get the adrenaline pumping, hey - it's still pretty cool.
While the two big casinos at Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World are grabbing all the headlines, for an evening or afternoon with a difference, the Singapore Turf Club gives you the chance to experience the thrill of winning on the horses - far more cool than playing cards, right? You might however want to head to the Marina Bay Sands to check out the view at day or night - and there's a pretty cool bar up there (Ku De Ta) to enjoy a cocktail while you're at it.
