Fun Things To Do in Denver

These fun things to do are active, captivating, comical, and unique, and are bound to put a smile on your face. After all—fun is what vacation is all about, right?

Colorado's natural beauty and gorgeous weather allow for plenty of fun outdoor activities such as rafting, seeing a concert or taking a hike around Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, or taking a gondola tour with Venice on the Creek.

Even if you're not an art aficionado, the First Friday Art Walk is a great time. And even if you're not a beer aficionado, the Denver Microbrew Tour is great fun because it includes information about Denver history and a guided walking tour in downtown Denver's historic LoDo area, plus plenty of samples of beers brewed with the infamous Rocky Mountain spring water.

The Mercury Café has a variety of events every night of the week, including live music and salsa, swing, and belly dancing lessons. Comedy Works brings in some of the top acts in the nation, as well as local favorites.

The Ski Train is an amazing way to see the Rockies, as it crosses under the continental divide and winds into the high country, dropping off riders within 100 feet of the Winter Park ski lift.
