Causeway Bay is one of the top places to find the best restaurants that serve anything and everything in Hong Kong. Under Bridge Spicy Crab is one of the most locally reknowned Causeway dish with fried chili, garlic and scallions that complement the crab's briny, mineral freshness. A sweet yau mak choi and garlic stir-fry is a good side.
Snow Garden is a Shanghainese restaurant that you must stop by for dinner if you are Causeway Bay.
The best two areas to start off with Times Square and the Paterson Street area; the food forum is on the top floor of Times Square and is cluttered with high and fine dining establishments such as Wasabisabi and SML. There are more 18 other restaurants at Times Square so even if you like the looks of Wasabisabi or SML you might even be more tempted by the seafood, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Chiuchow and Japanese restaurants around.
Even though Paterson Street has turned into a mainly retail area, its actually a pedestrian only area during weekends and at night you'll still find bars, restaurants and these Causeway restaurants start to show their personality. Agnés B's Le Pain Grillé is really a landmark Causeway Bay restaurant with dark wood décor, low ceilings and small chairs. The food menu is more limited with four or five main courses on offer, most of them seafood or duck.
The servers are knowledgeable and patient at TOTT's Asian Grill & Bar, which is round the corner from Paterson Street at the Excelsior hotel. If you are looking for a romantic restaurant around Causeway Bay then either Tott's or a la umai would be your best choice. These two restaurants in Causeway Bay perhaps have the best harbor view in the city: Central to the left and Tsim Sha Tsui to the right.
Just few blocks away and a 3 minute walk away from the Causeway MTR is the World Trade Center where you'll find Tonkichi Tonkatsu Seafood, Myung Ga Korean Restaurant and Kung Tak Lam vegetarian restaurant. These top Causeway Restaurants are quintessentially Hong Kong favourites.
