  • Maui is a destination that attracts honeymooners, couples on an anniversary, and love birds in general. The calm waters, unforgettable sunsets, and laid back atmosphere cater to romantic escapades. The two most popular resort towns on Maui are found in Wailea and Ka'anapali.

    Wailea is home to prestigious resorts like the Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, and Kea Lani. All three of these resorts share romantic beach views, private suites, and even on site spas for couples massages. Spend the day tanning on the beach, walking along a beachfront trail, or dining at mouthwatering on-campus restaurants.

    Ka'anapali is located on the western side of the island. Top resorts in Ka'anapali include the Hyatt, Westin, and Ritz Carlton (in Kapalua). Visitors should head to Ka'anapali Beach at sunset to watch cliff divers jump off of ''Black Rock,'' which is illuminated by tiki torches. Many of these beachfront resorts also offer a nightly luau where couples can learn to dance the hula and drink tropical drinks.

    Maui's remote east side of the island houses a town called Hana. The Hotel Hana Maui provides an untouched tropical setting that is unrivaled anywhere else on the island. If you are looking for an escape from reality, the Hotel Hana Maui is your best option.
