Photo Friday — By Nicole Lerner on December 19, 2008 at 10:23 am

In what NileGuide destination was this photo taken?  What is the name of the landmark featured?

(For more Photo Friday fun, see last week’s post)

UPDATE 12/22: The photo was taken in Moscow and showcases the onion domes of St. Basil’s Cathedral (aka The Cathedral of the Intercession) at the Southeast end of Red Square.  Ivan the Terrible commissioned the cathedral after the capture of the Khanate of Kazan.
