Since our post on the Top 5 Family Travel Blogs, I’ve stumbled on another interesting family travel related site. Founded by a mother of two young boys with the tag line, “entertaining children for real and imaginary journeys,” Kids Travel Happy provides a unique approach to kids travel trays, toys, games, books and activities.
Tracyn, a mother of two young boys, has traveled extensively with her family by plane, train, car and RV. After spending too much time hunting under airplane seats for tiny parts and calming her own kids’ frustrations, she took to putting together ‘activity bags’ for her sons before each trip. After hours researching stimulating and educational toys and games to entertain her own sons while traveling, she realized others could benefit from her experience, and the online store (and small local storefront in Bethel, ME) was born.
