Zap the IT Guy of this Travel Website
Travel News — By spencerspellman on September 24, 2010 at 12:00 pmThe “IT guy” around the world has become somewhat of an icon– sometimes regarded as a savior, and other times simply the black sheep of the company. One day you’re buying him a cup of coffee and the next you’d like to zap him. One travel company, CruiseAmour, actually lets you buy the IT guy a cup of coffee or zap him, with the pre-launch landing page of their new website. Tnooz reports that the new online travel agency, which is a part of Freedom Travel Group and Cooperative Travel, has briefly published the landing page as a teaser for the company’s new website, which is set to debut in September.
As Tnooz reports, when you go to CruiseAmour’s website, you’ll find a nifty landing page with a video of an IT guy typing away on the computer. Visitors to the website can click to “feed him coffee”, in which someone brings him a cup of coffee and he gets a second wind; or, you can click to “zap him”, in which as you guessed it, he gets zapped.
It’s one of the most unique landing pages we’ve seen and we hope the new design of the website lives up to the same Pavlovian creativity as the pre-launch site.
