Located in the Rhine Valley of St. Gallen, Altstatten is a great village for those who wish to spend time outdoors. Wander the town and do a little shopping, take in the history that Swiss Heritage Site has to offer, hike one of seven trails, or savor the view provided by an open panorama train car.
