Summer Solstice Celebrations

During the Midsommarafton (Midsummer’s Eve) festivities in Stockholm, Sweden, people collect flowers and greenery to cover a giant maypole. Once erected, couples and families dance around it to the sounds of traditional Swedish folk music.
