Sand sculptures aren’t always built on the beach. These sculptures were displayed in the upper courtyard of Dublin Castle as part of a 2011 sand sculpture event created by the Duthain Dealbh (“Fleeting Sculpture”) collective. This trio of artists specializes in ephemeral sculptures made not only of sand, but also snow, ice, and fire.
