The legendary KU DE TA in Bali, having already established the yardstick for upscale bars and luxury gourmet treats, has recently announced plans to transform their roof-top area into a stylish urban roof top beer garden serving gourmet burgers, fries and shakes with a Mediterranean influence. The new venue will be called KU DE TA Beer Garden, or KBG for short, and slated to open to the public in June 2011. KBG will be a place for KU DE TA patrons can relax and enjoy the expansive rooftop lounge area, with an open kitchen concept and a full service bar. Naturally, KBG will serve a broad range of ice-cold beers, as well as bourbon, classic cocktails and a selected wine list.
“The food will all be about flavor at KBG. Simple relaxed food with premium ingredients.” shared KBG’s Executive Chef Phil Davenport. “Whenever I’m in the kitchen overseeing fine dining, I’m always imagining my ideal after work meal – a succulent burger with fresh cut fried potato wedges, all washed down with a cold draught beer. My idea of heaven!”
The KBG menu will include a selection of gourmet burgers all made with freshly ground Wagyu beef, with highlights such as The Millionaire’s (with home-made foie gras) and Fillet-o-Fish (with herb crusted barramundi). KBG will open this coming June 2011, daily from 5pm until late, with food being served until midnight.
