One of the best things about Barcelona is how easy it is to get from one end of the city to the other in 30 minutes or less. Either by foot, metro, bus, taxi or motto it’s a city big enough so you never get bored, yet small enough not to have to spend too much time commuting. In honour of the recent time change and the onset of summer in Barcelona, here are a few exciting activities you can do in the city in one hour or less.

1: Picasso Museum Tour – Of course you can spend as much time in this museum as you like, however you can definitely do it all in an hour.

2: Game of tennis – Take the green line to Montbau metro stop and the tennis courts are right there. They’re rented out for an hour at a time and it’s a great way to spend a sunny, Sunday afternoon. (After 3pm on Sunday’s it’s half price for a court)

3: Bike along the boardwalk – Barcelona has amazing beaches lining the coast. Rent a bike and go for a relaxing, scenic ride checking out the different beaches along the way. You can stop for a few drinks at some of the chiringuitos along the way or just drive around for an hour, soaking up the sun and getting some exercise.
