Nowadays everything is posted online.  In Italy, they are slowing but surely becoming more savvy with technology.  I have put together a list of helpful websites you might need to logon to to check a train schedule, bus schedule or just learn what local festivals are going on when you arrive in Florence.

1.  ATAF–This site has all the bus schedules for Florence.  You can find the exact streets they stop on and which one is closest to your hotel.

2.  Trenitalia– An essential site to have handy on your iPhone or computer when you travel to Italy.  You can search in English on where you want to travel to.  Buying a ticket online is easy to do as well.

3.  Information about festivals and markets going on when you arrive, The Florentine English newspaper is a great way to investigate what will be fun to visit.

4.  If you are a young buck or gal wanting to see what is happening at night, Notte Fiorentina publishes all the events each locale has going on.  Such as the drink specials, half price entrance, and who is deejaying where.

5.  Anglo Info Tuscany, is another place where you can search what is going on in Florence.  From music to film festivals.

Start planning your activities now!
