There are a large variety of different options, ensuring a little bit of something for everyone. If you’re craving a little bit of freedom within your vacation, you can rent your own kayak or boat. If you’d rather have a bit more structure, you can rent a private tour through the beautiful mangroves. To have an afternoon collection shells, look no further than the Shelling Cruise to the outer islands, where you can see dolphins and collect shells for yourself. This cruise stops for a delicious lunch, and allows you to spend part of the time on the beach. This is one of the best cruises for the whole family. If you’re traveling with small children, check out the Afternoon Dolphin Watch Cruise. Narrated by those who truly understand the landscape, the trip is both beautiful and educational. Speaking of educational experiences, the Sea Life Encounter Excursion is easily the best cruise for the whole family. The cruise is big on hands on learning, and kids will get to see crabs, seahorses, and local marine life. There are also on board “touch tanks” for a first hand (pun intended) experience. If you’re traveling with that special someone, be sure and book a romantic sunset cruise. The Sunset Dolphin Cruise is a lovely way to see something truly special; the waters around San Carlos Bay. This tours are easily one of the best ways to have an excursion during your vacation without straying away from the beach and ocean, so check out Adventures in Paradise Tours!

With long hot days in the sun peppered by dunks in the ocean, Fort Meyers has a little bit of the sweet life. If you’re planning a trip to Florida, the Country Inn and Suites is the place to be. While this isn’t the most luxurious spot in Fort Meyers, it’s certainly one of the most affordable. Even though it’s on the cheaper side, you won’t have to sacrafice convenience or great service. The hotel offers many amenities, such as an outdoor pool and a sparkling fitness facility. There are also many perks for the business traveler, making this a great place to both work and play. Located in the heart of Fort Meyers, this hotel is conveniently located to many major attractions. If you’re traveling with small children, the Imaginarium Hands On Museum is just a hop, skip, and a jump from the resort. After a long hot day in the sun, sometimes it’s nice to have dinner close to your accommodation. At this resort, there are barbeque grills perfect for cooking up dinner for the whole family outside. The service is friendly and warm. The rooms are extremely affordable, making this one of the best places for all those traveling on a budget. Rooms start at an extremely modest $66 a night. While this isn’t one of the most glorious places to stay in Fort Meyers, it’s a great place to stay if you want to spend more money on nice dinners and entertainment and less on a hotel. For those traveling with a family, this is an excellent choice.
