Shopping Festival on Istiklal Street

The 19th of March was celebrated fully fledged all around the city. I had already reported :) from Nisantasi ISF_ ELLE (Istanbul Shopping Festival and Elle Magazin that are) Opening Party.

The same flurry was also felt on the Istiklal Street. The picture below is from the street party of the March 19th on Istiklal.

Party-goers in Taksim / Istiklal danced with DJ Soft Music Power Group Funky C, Ersin and Superstarz Dance Group, Anatolian Dance Group,  Mercan Dede & Semazen and Ceza (Turkish Rapper).

The Shopping Festival will continue with all its fervor for another month. Shows of today include Perfume Workshop at 14:00 and Hat Design at 17:00 in City’s. Tomorrow will be a night of shopping in Akmerkez; and the night will end with three lucky people winning Mini Ones.

Street performances and dancing will occur again on shopping streets, including Istiklal, Abdi Ipekci (Nisantasi) and Bagdat  Street. The fun will start at 14:00 and will last until 22:00.
