There is really nothing better than ending a day on the slopes with a hot pizza and a cold beer. At most of these restaurants in the Lake Tahoe area, you can keep it casual and walk on in with your ski gear. No one will look twice. Here is a list of some of the most popular pie and slice restaurants among Tahoe locals.

South Shore
The Brewery: Try the Bad Ass Pizza with their spicy white sauce. Wash it down with the Bad Ass Ale.

North Shore
Mofo’s Pizza & Pasta: The Firenze pizza at Mofo’s loads on the pesto, feta cheese, salami, kalamata olives, tomatoes and garlic.

East Shore
New York Pizza: For over 20 years, this little place serves up a cheap lunch and the Hell’s Kitchen Chicken pizza with BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, red onions, cilantro and cheese.

West Shore
Fireside Pizza: This boutique pizza place in Squaw Valley serves up a Pear and Gorgonzola pie with fresh arugula.

Zano’s: This popular place caters to the ski and board crowd with their Carmella pizza topped with mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese and roasted red peppers.
