Here are ten Tahoe hotels that are pet-friendly.
The Heavenly Inn in Stateline accepts up to two well-behaved dogs for an extra $25 a night per pet. The dogs must be under 25 pounds and be crated if they are left alone in your room.
The CalNeva in Crystal Bay has just made their hotel pet-friendly. Please contact the hotel for regulations.
This cute little set of cabins on the West Shore accepts one pet per cottage for an extra $20 a night. They will need to be crated if they are left alone in the room and they are not allowed on the furniture. Tahoma Meadows does offer pet-sitting services.
Several properties offered from the Tahoe Keys Resort allow you to bring in your pets.
Holly’s Place in South Lake Tahoe offers studio cabins with kitchenettes and fireplaces and accepts pets with open arms. They offer doggie day-care and will provide old blankets or sheets for your animal. Be sure to have your vaccination papers with you.
This inn in South Lake Tahoe prides itself on being environmentally-, as well as pet-,friendly.
This friendly resort near the Heavenly ski area is pet-friendly and they offer kitchenettes with hard floors for potty-trained pets.
Fireside Lodge Bed and Breakfast
The Fireside Lodge in South Lake Tahoe has a friendly dog that lives on the premises, so more dogs are most welcome.
This beautiful hotel near Truckee allows dogs on their ground floor rooms (breed and weight restrictions may apply). The fee is $50 extra per night.
The owners of this eco-friendly B&B near Truckee also have dogs, so they welcome well-trained dogs to their comfortable home.
