Millions of travelers like to take their dog (or even cat) with them when they go on vacation, but if you want to bring Fido to Las Vegas, you’ll have to think about where you’d like to stay. If you want to stay on the Strip, the Four Seasons accepts small pets, but none of the hotel casinos do (unless you count the Circus Circus RV Park). Off the Strip, the upscale Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort is also critter-friendly.
Paradise Road, which runs parallel to the Strip, has a better selection of pet-friendly accommodations, like Marriott’s Residence Inn. Further off the Strip, you’ll find plenty of name-brand hotels and motels that welcome your dog or cat. Unfortunately, two local hotel casinos, the Red Rock Resort and the Green Valley Ranch Resort, recently discontinued their pet-friendly policies.
Most places don’t allow you to leave your four-legged friend in the room alone, so ask at the front desk for pet sitting services if you plan on going out–no pets allowed in the casino.
