While thousands flock to Phillip Island everyday to see the penguins, many locals don’t even know that a colony of penguins live near St Kilda. Unknown to the public until 1993, an environmentalist established  Penguin Water Cruises which has sole permission to visit them.

Melbourne is a great city in which to ride a bicycle. The Melbourne Bike Share program, provides 600 bikes at 50 bike share stations, dotted around the Melbourne CBD for those that want to see the sites at a slower pace.
