Michael Learns to Rock, in New Delhi, June 17

Events, Nightlife — By Sanjay Kumar on June 8, 2010 at 11:50 am

Jascha, Mikkel and Kåre will be here. Even though it will be strictly a one-night affair.

Michael Learns to Rock are on a three-city, India tour to promote their latest CD release: “Eternity”. The New Delhi visit performance will be a 40-min singback PR show at Fbar, Ashok Hotel.

MTLR, as they are popularly known, started off in 1988 and have sold over 10 million records worldwide. Nothing To Lose, Colours, Played On Pepper, Blue Night and Eternity have been the more successful of their albums.

Simple, easy to remember lyrics and a clean image have been attributed to their popularity in Asia.

So if you are a fan of what their record label calls “the perfect balance of a Scandinavian glow and the international pop song …(that is) the compelling sound of the band”, join in the fun. After all, the lyrics are easy to remember. And fun to hum.

Where: FBar.

When: June 17, 2010, 9 pm onwards.

can we not buy tickets for this concert?
because the link mentioned above mentions that entry is by invitation only.
    is that so?

  • Sanjay Kumar says:

Yes, I am afraid so, but you can take part in their so called ‘win free passes’ contest. All the best.

  • Deedee Lisman says:

*The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
