Smile from ear to ear with rib sauce cascading the likes of that perfect smile when you venture out to Optimist Park in Niagara Falls for RibFest. Over the past seven years RibFest in Niagara Falls showcases some of the best BBQ joints around. During the month of June (notably on Father’s Day weekend) BBQ-ers beware; the best ribs are in town for the weekend. Locals and tourists alike venture on down to the park for some saucy ribs, greasy blooming onions, kettle corn and of course a little fun under the stars. The event runs from Friday through till Sunday, so as you ring the bell to celebrate another Father’s Day with your favourite dad don’t forget to check out RibFest as it’s safe to say that your dad will be happy you did. The entertainment starts Friday night at 5:30 until the wee hours of the night then on Saturday and Sunday the entertainment is through the day and night. Artists such as The Caverners, The Legacy King and Oracle are some of this years hit artists. And of course the ribs. Bone Daddy’s, Billy Bones, and Silver Bullet are some of the famous ribs that are awaiting you. Take your pick from a rack, half a rack of a vegetarians worst nightmare package, whichever you choose you’ll fall in love with every stand. Bring the whole family for the Best BBQ in town as there is face painting, Cotton Candy and inflatable jump and bounces for the kids to release their energy from. The Best BBQ in town is at The Rotary RibFest in Niagara Falls, be sure not to miss it next year!
