Perth is a city for outdoor experiences, and if you’re an animal lover then you’ll be happy to learn that many of these experiences take place with our furry, feathered and finned friends! Whether you’re looking for the typical Aussie animal experience with kangaroos and koalas, or would like to see some of our less well-known native animals, or just to look at the animals of various parts of the world at the zoo, then there are so many sightseeing spots in Perth that you’ll love.

To find out more, check out my new Guide – Top 10 Animal Lover Activities in Perth – for some tips and inside information. It features places like Lake Monger, famous as a picturesque spot where you can reliably see black swans, the state emblem; or Rottnest Island where the native quokkas are a lot of fun to spot, and also the contact point for swimming with the dolphins at Rockingham, surely one of the most amazing experiences you could have on your holiday.
