Red Rocks Music Festival. This year, Sedona’s Red Rocks Music Festival will be celebrating its tenth anniversary. The classical music festival’s mission is to engage and challenge audiences through collaboration with national artists and leading Arizona performing arts organizations. This year’s festival runs from August 28 through September 4 and will feature Sonya and Elizabeth Schumann in performance, chamber music, and a concert titled “Baroque on the Rocks.” Performances are held at the Sedona Creative Life Center. Sedona Jazz on the Rocks. Established in 1981, Sedona Jazz on the Rocks has a well deserved reputation as one of the oldest and most venerable jazz festivals in the Southwest. Each autumn, Sedona plays host to some of the most exciting up-and-coming jazz talents along with legendary performers during one long weekend of stellar music.
