Being in Southern California, it’s natural to expect residents know how to surf. But what if you don’t? Now is your chance to learn as two local San Diego surf shops are helping fathers and teens get up on the board this weekend.
This Saturday at Pacific Beach’s San Diego Surf School MTV’s MTV is inviting locals to explain why they want to be made into a surfer. The small, local company owned by Souf Tihhi will offer teens, ages 15-22 the chance to tell MTV their show. So tell your story and show up this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Pacific Beach surf school was founded in 2000 after Souf rode the waves in some of the world’s best surfing spots. San Diego’s other popular surfing school Surf Diva is offering a discount price for fathers on Father’s Day, this Sunday, June 20. Surf free with some of the school’s trained instructors.
