The Goonies Celebrate 25th Anniversary in Pacific Northwest

Seattle GenX-ers and GenY-ers will be making the three-hour road trip to Astoria June 4-7 for the 25th anniversary of the Spielberg cult classic movie, “The Goonies.” To mark the over-the-top event, original cast members including Corey Feldman, Joe Pantoliano and Curt Hanson will be in attendance. Fans will enjoy many events throughout the four-day weekend, including:

· Stars signing autographs, along with a celebratory VIP dinner;

· Bus tours of filming sites, including an interior tour of the Goonies House;

· A “Goonies” themed concert with Corey Feldman’s band, Truth Movement, and the alternative band The Ataris;

· Red carpet event and showing of “The Goonies” and a new documentary about the film; and

· The grand opening of the new Oregon Film Museum and “Goonies” exhibit
