Are you a writer, journalist, editor or tourism industry professional looking to network with others in the Pacific Northwest? This May, 2011, the Pacific NW Travel Writers Conference, “Travel & Words,” will be held in Woodinville, Washington – just 20 minutes from downtown Seattle.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Sustainable, Green Travel and Tourism,” an important (and popular) theme in the industry. Both days of the conference will be filled with presenters and panels leading discussions, sharing resources and making connections with other green-minded travelers.

The conference will be held at Willows Lodge, a sustainable, green lodge northeast of Seattle with incredible landscaped gardens.

Early birds can register before March 1st for the rate of $99, a fee that includes all of the presentation, resource materials, refreshments and Monday’s lunch. The conference is May 1st from 1:00pm to 6:00 pm and May 2nd from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Hope to see you there!
