If you haven’t heard of the new rage in dining in Toronto, then you haven’t heard of O.Noir.
It’s been done in Europe, Australia, L.A., New York and Montreal – but now the ‘Dine in the Dark’ restaurant has arrived in Canada, inviting Torontonians and Toronto visitors to experience dining like they’ve never dined before. The theory that your other senses are heightened if you lose one rings true. The owner of the restaurant explains, “Even simple, everyday dishes like potatoes and yogurt take on a culinary flare.”
The other positive note about the whole experience is that the entire wait staff is blind – thus providing the minority with jobs.
If you thought culinary reinvention was dying, think again!
