A mother and daughter’s day in Vancouver (for kids)
Kid Friendly, Things to Do — By Natasha John on April 15, 2010 at 5:10 amMarch Break has come and gone, but that only means that summer is just around the corner. What to do with your kids when they’re off for, what seems like, months on end? Well, it’s easy to spend long summer days relaxing on Jericho Beach or Spanish Banks and taking in Vancouver’s warm sunshine and cool waters. Or, another reliable option is to take the kids to Science World, where they will leave tired and full of new knowledge.
However, just like us adults, kids deserve a little pampering now and then. Recently, my little pal (who just turned seven), spent the day at The Hairloft, located in Granville Island‘s Kids Market. While she was there, she was treated like the little queen that she is and had her hair styled, make-up done and ears pierced. Dad, lock the doors!
The Hairloft is a luxurious little spot for mothers and daughters to enjoy the day relaxing and being pampered. The “Princess Spa Package” is ideal for your little lady and will make her feel like a million bucks.
So, the next time you’re thinking of kid friendly things to do in Vancouver and would like to add a little pampering into the equation, head to Granville Island’s Kids Market and enjoy a day at The Hairloft.
