Blooms and Beauty: Groomed Gardens Around Vancouver

The Lower Mainland is well known for Cherry Blossoms, so much so, that Vancouver hosts a Cherry Blossom festival at the height of their bloom in the spring. Photographer Nancy Wong says that the Cherry Blossoms in Van Dusen’s garden are of the late blooming variety and generally don’t bloom until the second week of April, and they last about a month.
