You should be able to find something fun to do on Maui within three miles of where you are at any given time on Maui. We have put together this list of fun water and land activities across the island to help you along the way.
Let's start with water activities. The Maui Ocean Center is Hawaii's top aquarium, and exhibits stunning displays of local species. After your time at the aquarium, look to board a whale watching or snorkel cruise out of the nearby Ma'alaea Harbor. Whale watching season in the Hawaiian Islands runs from early winter to late spring.
Most all the beaches on Maui offer different forms of pleasure, whether it be in the form of waves, snorkeling, or long unobstructed shorelines. Wailea Beach and Ka'anapali Beach are popular options for visiting tourists. Ho'okipa is fantastic for big wave enthusiasts.
A trip out to Hana should always be in the cards when visiting Maui. Explore underground lava tubes, botanical gardens, waterfalls, rain pools, and small road side fruit stands. The natural beauty is unrivaled.
