Maui has some unbelievable beaches. Whether you like to snorkel, dive, surf, windsurf, kite surf, or simply walk long sandy shores, we have put together a list of great options.
Ka'anapali Beach is our top option for visitors to Maui. Often highlighted on television travel programs as one of Hawaii's top beaches, this long stretch of coastline stretches in front of some of Maui's top resorts on the western side of the island. Head to Ka'anapali beach at sunset for scenic a cliff diving show.
Arguably one of the top snorkel beaches on Maui has always been Ulua Beach. Many dive certifications are held at this beach as well. You can also head out to Honolua Bay for excellent snorkeling and diving.
Wave junkies should look to attack Big Beach or Baldwin Beach for incredible shore breaks, Ho'okipa or D.T. Flemmings for surf, and Kanaha for windsurfing and kite surfing.
